  • 8/17/2011 Green Room is back from its five week hiatus and ready to blast you into autumn as we dust off our instruments and jump back onstage. But wait, summer's not over yet so check out our Shows page for upcoming dates- we've got some great outdoor concerts planned before the leaves start to turn. Halloween is also just around the corner and you know that means epic costume party!
  • 4/12/2011 Wow, what an incredible time at the CD Release Party on Saturday!! We hope you guys were feeling it as much as we were, because that's the most fun we've had playing out in a good while. Could it have been our bassist Alex's debut on backup vocals (his first public singing appearance since 6th grade chorus), the amazing 75-person turnout, or special guest Nate Hamm on fiddle? All of these things and more contributed to a fabulous evening and we thank you all for the love and support! Check out the Shows page for a list of upcoming performances and stay tuned for details about our next appearance with keyboardist Alex Barnett, April 23rd in Hartford, VT. If you haven't already done so, please visit our Facebook page and click "Like" so you can get the latest info about this very special evening that we have in the works!

  • In mid November, Green Room packed up the band wagon and set off to Rhode Island for a weekend-long recording extravaganza at the studios of Tom Peterutti, renowned Providence drummer and Brass Attack bandleader. After many hours, broken strings, and bad jokes from Alex, Green Room emerged with its first full-length album, "Highway House", ready to be mixed and mastered! We are incredibly happy and proud of the result, and can't wait to share the efforts of two years of songwriting with you all. We're currently designing the album artwork and will send it to the presses in the next few weeks, so stay tuned! The album will be available on iTunes and CDBaby, and we will have hardcopies as well. Don't miss our CD release party April 9th at the Main St. Museum!
